A car charger is the largest continuous load most homes will ever add. Installed carelessly, it trips the main every time someone runs the oven and the dryer together. Installed properly, with load management reading the incoming supply, you never think about it again.
We survey the supply, the panel capacity and the cable route before quoting, so the price you’re given is the price you pay. Most installs are finished between breakfast and lunch.

Choosing between 7kW and 11kW
Single-phase homes get 7kW, which adds roughly 25 miles of range an hour — comfortably enough overnight. If you have a three-phase supply and a car that can take it, 11kW is worth the small extra cost. We confirm which applies before you commit to hardware.
