Lighting Design & Installation
Layered lighting built around how each room is used — task light, dimmable zones, automatic exteriors.

Light the room, not the ceiling
Most homes have one bright fixture in the middle of the ceiling and a lot of shadow underneath it. Good lighting works in layers: something to see by, something to work under, and something that makes the room worth sitting in after dark.
We plan circuits and switching first, then fixtures. That order is what lets you dim the island separately from the pantry, or walk in the front door and have the hall and stairs come up together at thirty percent.
Where it makes the biggest difference
Under-cabinet and island task lighting in kitchens
Separate switching for seating, reading and screen areas
Stair, hall and landing circuits on motion or timer
Bathroom lighting rated correctly for each zone
Exterior and path lighting on photocell or astronomical timer
Fixtures and specification
We’re happy to install fixtures you’ve chosen, or to specify them with you. Where we specify, we stay with fixtures that take replaceable lamps and render color honestly — a cheap downlight with a sealed LED is a landfill item with a five-year clock on it.
